Papa Shango Were formed November 2003 by Papa Rob, who wanted to re-define the boundaries of performance music, wanting to entertain and seduce audiences as well as win them over with hard rockin. In order to do so, the right musicians had to be found. After a few trial and error sessions the right musicians were indeed discovered, each individual musician possessing a wealth of creativity, talent and experience. Papa Shango were Simon Childs on drums, Steve Harcourt on guitar, Rob Scratchard on vocals, Dave Walsh on guitar and Ryan Cowell on bass. |

One of the greatest vocalist Harlow has produced. Paul had been with This Happy Breed and The Tender Trap (among others) when he started playing solo gigs around 1989. He quickly established himself as one of the countrys best singer/songwriter. His latest album is called "In The Shadow Of Christchurch" |

The combination of Paul Howards vocals and Jo Clacks playing result in one of the best accoustic set ups to have emerged from Harlow. Formed in the mid 80's Paul and Jo entered the 1986 Rock Competition and emerged winners. |

Penny Royal take their template straight from the 60's and transplant it into the 2000's. Consisting of Shaun Clarke, drums, Joe Moriarty, bass, Stuart Ferguson, vocals and Mitch Harrington on guitar they are currently recording their debut album. |

One of the first big hitters from the local Harlow music scene. Pete's boys played punk blues with a touch of cynicism and fun thrown in for good measure. Pete The Meat And The Boys were originally Terry Hardy on drums, Richard Holgarth, guitar, Pete Brown, vocals and Martin Holden on bass. They entered the 1981 Rock Competition and got through to the finals. |

Were basically set up to enter the Rock Competition and a handful of gigs. Alex would later name The Catherine Effect after Cathy went on a spectacular bender. |
