ATTILA THE STOCKBROKER
POET/MUSICIAN
JUKEBOX AND GALLERY

Attila moved to Harlow in late 1979, sharing a flat with Steve Drewett of inspirational local punk band The Newtown Neurotics, whom he had met a year or so before at their first gig. He registered with an employment agency and because he could speak French was offered a stop gap 'job' as a clerk/translator at the Stock Exchange. He hated it. They hated him. One day someone called him Attila. A light came on in my head. The rest, as they say, is history!

Attila still records and tours around the World.
